Am I eligible?
Applications are welcome from all hospitality and tourism related businesses such as craft, heritage and attractions, activities, food and accommodation - and also other businesses that have an interest in tourism development including retailers, sports and leisure facilities etc. We are keen to have a complementary mix of businesses in each Network.
How much time will it take?
We recognise that for many businesses, attendance at training can prove difficult. We have carefully designed this Network to ensure flexibility. The primary workshops take place over 4 days (two day residentials in off-peak season). The two other workshops are both one day events. In addition, six half-day Network meetings are provided. An online library of business support tools and templates is available for you to use back at your own business.
Where is the Networking Programme Delivered
The workshops are delivered at regional level and will take place in the South East, South West, West, North West and East Coast and Midlands.
How much do I have to pay?
The cost is €290 for the 12 month programme which includes all hotel accommodation at Residential Events and training materials.
What happens after you complete the one year programme?
After you complete the 12 month Tourism Learning Network programme you will have continued access to Fáilte Ireland’s eBusiness programmes, mentoring and other business development supports.
What size business can join the Network?
All small and medium sized businesses are eligible to join the Network regardless of age. Current participating businesses range in size from 0 employees upwards. A particular focus is placed on enterprises with less than 20 people.
